Harry Connick Jr. to Mariah Carey: 'American Idol XIII is Heaven (not Hell)'

By Rickey ·

New American Idol XIII judge Harry Connick Jr. threw some shade on former judge Mariah Carey on Twitter yesterday.

He wrote: "Must've been hard to judge in hell... @AmericanIdol XIII is heaven!"

Ouch. This is in reference to Mariah telling a radio host that she hated her experience on American Idol Season 12 and that it was like "like hell".

I like Harry Connick Jr. already. He has a nice positive attitude about the show.

American Idol forever! I'm looking forward to Harry finding the next Candice Glover! I cannot wait!
