Happy Trip
By the time this gets posted, I should be in the air (hopefully sleeping on an uncomfortable airline seat) en route to Oakland, CA. Will be attending this "geek gathering" over the weekend for WordPress, the software that currently powers rickey.org. Hey, maybe I can network and make geek friends. I can tell them there are a lot of girls who read rickey.org (teehee!).
The next two days, I don't know what to do. Hopefully I won't get too bored. What can you do in San Francisco this time of year? I have two free days.
On Tuesday evening, I'm going to Portland, OR, again for more rest as I visit my best friend there. On Saturday we will watch the American Idol concert where I am the official Fanjaya Torch Bearer. Exciting.
I'll be back in New York on August 1st.
It may go by quickly or it may be boring, but let it not be said that I did not explore "life outside my apartment" (from Avenue Q).
And since I have my BlackBerry... I won't really be away! Too cool.
