Happy Holidays

This is such a stressful time of year. I've always found it ironic that the happiest time of year is also the most nerve-wracking. Because of commercialism, aggravation is now synonymous to happiness. It just shouldn't be. I guess I'm happy when Christmas arrives because then it's finally over.

At any rate...

I'm packing. I'm leaving for Los Angeles at 1pm today. I really think I'm a little stupid because, aside from a Christmas gathering with family, I really don't know what else I'm going to do there. Right now, I have three days that I have no idea what I'll do with. Same goes for San Francisco. What will I do there for four days? I'm a mess. Because I don't know what I'm doing, I don't know what to pack. I'm so stupid.

A little source of pride however is that, forced by dire economic conditions, I have made holiday cards in lieu of gifts. I have now been slowly initiated into the arts and crafts world. The wonders you could do with stickers and colored pens! I also made mix CDs to add a personal touch to the cards. I think they're neat.

So off I go in a few hours, and will be back in New York City next week Friday. I've set up an AOL account so I should still be able to blog, though as I said, about what, I've no clue.
