Happy Endings - Everybody Loves Grant - Recap

James Wolk guest stars as Max's new, perfect, hunky boyfriend Grant. The highlight of this episode, at least for me, was the lovely scene of him fixing a sink without a shirt on. Thank you ABC.

The group of friends go nuts for Grant. They love everything about him. They begin to compete for his attention and affection. Dave is the only one not feeling it. He tries to prove that he's the cool one of the group and more importantly, cooler than Grant. Dave, you're really more of the annoying one of the group.

Max begins to worry when the group of friends go on about how perfect Grant is. He starts to think he isn't good enough for him. He decides it is best to just break up with him before Grant can break up with him for being chubby or anything other than perfect. He makes it his mission to find something wrong with Grant to justify breaking up with him and to prove that nobody is perfect. When Penny and her new boyfriend and Brad and Jane start competing to be Grant's best Couple's friends, Grant loses it at dinner. He admits that he's been trying so hard to get them to like him because they never like anyone. Dave frustrates him because he's been so hard to crack. Max is thrilled that grant is needy and not so perfect after all. Yay! I hope they keep him around for a long time.
