Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez Name Their Son Maceo

Halle Berry and her husband Olivier Martinez welcomed their first child together, a son on Oct. 5 and now they've revealed his name: Maceo Robert Martinez.

A rep for the couple confirmed the news to Us Weekly, telling the outlet the parents did indeed choose the name Maceo which means "Gift of God."

It should also be noted that Maceo is the Spanish version of Matteo or Matthew and was super popular during the Middle Ages, specifically through the 9th and 14th centuries.

Their bouncing baby boy's middle name however is a tribute to Olivier's father, Robert.

Mother and son are officially at home, having left the hospital on Oct. 7. We wish them and their new bundle of joy Maceo all the best of luck in their new lives together.
