It's a boy!

Halle Berry gave birth to a son on Saturday, Oct. 5, at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. The child is her first with her new husband, French actor Olivier Martinez. However, it is Berry’s second child, as she has a 5-year-old daughter Nahla by ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry.

A source at Cedars Sinai told PEOPLE, "Olivier hasn't left Halle's side. Nahla visited her baby brother earlier today."

In discussing her pregnancy, the 47-year-old Oscar winner previously told the publication, "This has been the biggest surprise of my life, to tell you the truth. Thought I was kind of past the point where this could be a reality for me. So it's been a big surprise and the most wonderful."

Congratulations to Berry and Martinez!
