Hackers Threaten to Release Iggy Azalea Sex Tape Images
So it's looking like hackers are gradually taking over the world by way of threats. Or trying to, anyway.
A group of hackers posting under the Twitter handle @TheAnonMessage, are publicly threatening to release images from an alleged sex tape of Iggy Azalea unless she apologizes to Azealia Banks for putting her on blast in response to Banks's comments in a Hot 97 interview.
The hackers are also demanding an apology to the protesters of the #blacklivesmatter movement, calling her a "trashy bitch" and claiming to "have so much s*** on you, your scandal would be bigger than Bill Cosby's."
"@IGGYAZALEA, you have exactly 48 hours from now to release a statement apologizing to @AzealiaBanks and the protesters in NYC…," the tweets began. "@IGGYAZALEA if you do not do so, the memory of you will burn from the public faster than the moment you surfaced. We're not kidding."
In the tweets, which began on Friday night, TheAnonMessage accuses Iggy of "misappropriating black culture, insulting peaceful protesters, and making light of Eric Garner's death."
Of course, while the hacker group claims to have the sex tape, they openly admit they don't plan on actually releasing it. Rather, they plan on simply releasing images of her face to confirm its veracity.
"The idea is not about releasing nudes," the group claims. "This shows nothing."
At this point, the tweets go on to vacillate back and forth between threatening and reassurance.
From THIS...
"There's an X rated tape of you, we bet you'd certainly don't want public, are we right? @IGGYAZALEA….and this is nothing. Comply or else."
To THIS...
"Now about that sex tape. We wont release the actual video. We have values to live by."
And then THIS...
"The problem is why this tape even exists. It involves a man in a business suit, a kardashian-like attempt at fame, and a record label."
To THIS...
"To reiterate, no sex tape of any kind will be released. Again, we are not in the business of porn. That doesn't mean we don't have it."
For her part, Iggy has completely ignored the threats on Twitter, even though the 48-hour deadline is very nearly up. I guess we'll see if there is any validity behind these threats soon enough. The hackers claim to have a higher purpose behind all of this, writing:
