H.R. Giger dead at 74

H.R. Giger has died as a result of injuries from a fall. He was 74.

Giger created the sets and creatures for Alien in 1980, which won him an Academy Award for Special Effects.

I'm very sad about this. His design for the Alien is one of the most iconic images in science fiction films.
