Gymnastics - Women's Balance Beam - London 2012 Olympics - Results

Here are the results for Gymnastics Women's Balance Beam Final at the London 2012 Olympics.

Gabby Douglas and Aly Raisman competed for Team USA. Deng LINLIN competed for China - Yay!

Results

Deng Linlin (one of my favorite gymnasts) was very precise with her routine.

Gabby Douglas fell from the beam and went out of contention. Too bad.

Victoria Komova of Russia also fell... and continued to pout as she has all throughout the competition.

Aly Raisman closed out the competition and finished fourth -- but Team USA launched an inquiry after her scores were revealed. The judges accepted her inquiry and her scores were adjusted. Aly won the bronze medal!

Sui Lu the reigning world champion on the beam was unhappy she was beaten by Linlin. She was very cold to Linlin during the medal ceremony. Ice queen!

Medals:

Gold - Deng Linlin (China)

Silver - Sui Lu (China)

Bronze - Aly Raisman (United States)
