Proving that being a mother, an Oscar winner, and the wife of a British rock star gives you that certain glow, Gwyneth Paltrow has been named People Magazine's Most Beautiful Woman for 2013.

The Iron Man co-star takes over as cover girl from last year's Most Beautiful Woman, Beyonce. In the issue, on newsstands this Friday, Paltrow explains that her husband, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, isn’t used to seeing her glamorous side. “He’ll make a joke about it. If I’ve gotten fully dressed up, he’ll be like, ‘Oh, wow! You’re Gwyneth Paltrow!’ Because he’s used to seeing me in, like, baggy shorts and frizzy hair,” says the Oscar winner.

Whether in baggy shorts or designer dresses, the Paltrow toplines a list that includes Adele, Jennifer Lawrence, Drew Barrymore, Kerry Washington, Amanda Seyfried, Zooey Deschanel, Kelly Rowland, and Kristen Stewart.
