Grey vs. James Irwin – The Voice 5 Knockouts - Video

Grey vs James Irwin - The Voice

Grey sang “Already Gone” and James Irwin sang “Breakeven” on The Voice Knockout Rounds for Team Adam Levine.

Grey is up first. She sounds great and it's technically wonderful as well. It almost sounds like a finale performance. I love her hair color.

James is up next. They have very different voices but I think overall, I enjoyed James' performance more. I felt the emotion moreso with this one than with Grey.

Christina Aguilera: James you have this really rich tone to your voice.
Ceelo Green: Grey, you had a chance to show a lot of character. James, when you get up there, it does seem like there's a ceiling there.
Adam Levine: Grey, you have a crazy powerful voice. James, you backed off the mic but you were hitting those notes.
Blake Shelton: Grey, you left the door open for James. James, that's the first time I heard the warmth of your voice. James, I think you won that one.

Results:

Grey is the winner! She moves on for Team Adam Levine.
