Despite countless surgeries, she's needed a wheelchair just to get around, and can't walk without the assistance of crutches. However, that changed when George came to her rescue. George is a 131-pound Great Dane would is a better friend to her than many people have in their lifetime. He leads her from class to class, making walking easier for her than it was with her crutches.
