Congratulations are in order for Glee star Harry Shum Jr.!

Shum is reportedly engaged to his longtime girlfriend, dancer/actress Shelby Rabara. But here's the twist: the couple has apparently been engaged since last October, when Shum proposed while on vacation in Hawaii. It's the rare case of a celebrity couple actually maintaining their privacy until they're comfortable enough to release the information themselves, as is the case here: the engagement has been confirmed through Shum's rep.

"They have been together for years and are so great together," a source told Us Weekly. The source states that the couple moved in together in a lavish 3-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom home in L.A. last month.

Congratulations to the happy couple!
