(Here's the Gleecap from our Gleetern Noelle for tonight's episode of Glee: Sectionals)

The mid-season finale of Glee is here and my heart is dying a little inside with the news I won't get new episodes till spring. That's why I'm glad the writers delivered tonight with more songs, more drama, and great performances. The road to Sectionals ends tonight but not before the Glee kids get a bunch more obstacles in their way.

Emma has taken over as faculty adviser for Glee while Will is forced to stay away. She jumps right in and helps the kids go over their setlist for Sectionals. Their big hits are obvious choices. Don't Stop Believin' and Somebody To Love are chosen right away but a ballad is still necessary. To prove she deserves just as much of a chance as Rachel does to sing it, Mercedes belts out And I Am Telling You from Dreamgirls. As much as Norman Gentle has tainted this song for me, I'm loving this. That girl has got some PIPES. Rachel agrees that Mercedes deserves to sing the ballad.

The Glee kids try to keep the news about Quinn and Puck away from Rachel and Finn. Once Rachel realizes that Puck is the real father she's sure to run and tell Finn. That's just what she does when she finds out and Finn immediately tries to beat the crap out of Puck. Quinn utters a mediocre apology and Finn leaves in an angry tirade quitting Glee. The kids are now on their way to Sectionals minus Finn.

Glee is up last at Sectionals and we get to sneak a peek at the two other school's performances. In an unpleasant shocker, both schools have copied Mckinley's setlist and performances. From a deaf version of Don't Stop Believin right down to a not so fabulous version of Proud Mary in wheelchairs. Because it completely makes sense for a class with no handicapped people to do that. Sue has leaked the setlists and Will vows to get revenge. He tries to convince Finn to save the day at Sectionals. And what do you know? He does.

The kids scramble to change their setlist. They keep Somebody To Love and add a new ballad by Rachel and a surprise performance by Finn's suggestion. Rachel comes out of nowhere and opens with Don't Rain On My Parade from Funny Girl. And Oh Em Gee is it amazing. I got goosebumps. Sometimes I cant believe that powerhouse of a voice is coming out of such a tiny girl. Emma is cellcasting the performances for Will. That's an obvious shout out to Rickey.org right there. Thanks Fox!

Finn's contribution is a group performance of You Can't Always Get What You Want by The Rolling Stones. Everyone in the audience is jamming. Suck on that cheaters. Sue gets what she deserves and loses her job as coach of the Cheerios and gets suspended from the school. Will is also reinstated and all is right with the world. In every way! Glee wins first place at Sectionals and they show their appreciation to Will by performing My Life Would Suck Without You by Kelly Clarkson. My life would suck without Glee.

Back in relationship land, things aren't going so well. Will leaves Terry when he realizes he can no longer look at her with love and Ken dumps Emma on her wedding day. She confesses her feelings for Will and resigns as a teacher. :( After listening to the kids perform, Will is inspired and runs to find Emma and plants a big kiss on her. Yay! I loved that this episode finally tied up some storylines and revealed a lot of things. I also loved how the Kelly Clarkson performance included a bunch of subtle nods to the performances throughout the season.
