Emma's wedding to Ken is approaching and it's slowly starting to open Will's eyes. He and Emma both discover that Ken has scheduled the wedding to be the same day as sectionals. Crazy coincidence eh? Not really. You can bet he wants Emma to have as little time with Will as possible. Emma isn't taking it badly. She feels marrying Ken despite his 74 flaws is the right thing to do. I'm placing bets on whether or not she leaves him at the altar singing Breaking Up Is Hard To Do.
Will is extremely stressed out lately. Between Sue constantly on a rampage to destroy his career and his problems at home, he's practically pulling out his perm in frustration. While looking through the drawers in his bedroom, Will finds Terry's fake strap-on baby bump. He realizes that she's been lying to him all along. He makes his way to the kitchen and confronts her. He's so angry that I almost forgot that I was watching an episode of Glee. It's a scary scene. But the acting in it is amazing as Will and Terry finally confront each other with everything that's been bubbling up for months and Will ends up leaving. Definitely one of my favorite scenes so far.
The budget isn't in the Glee kids' favor and sure enough, Sue and the principal want to keep Glee from having a picture at all. Will wants to use his own money to get them a picture but can only squeeze in two people. The entire club, tired of being harassed and humiliated for being in Glee, nominate Rachel to represent them in the yearbook and she wholeheartedly accepts. Finn begrudgingly agrees to appear alongside her but isn't all that comfortable about it. Rachel tries to get him to relax by performing Smile by Lily Allen. I didn't really like this one at all. The performance didn't seem to do any good and Finn bails on Rachel and doesn't show up for the picture.
Upset by the lack of morale from the rest of the members of Glee, Rachel gets them all cast in a local commercial for mattresses. Their lines are boring and the kids aren't having it. They're performers. They decide to do what they do best and jazz up the commercial with an awesome performance of Jump. It looks like so much fun and the commercial is a success. Almost. Sue wants to use this as an excuse to sabotage the kids from going to sectionals. Doesn't she have anything better to do with her life?
Using what I assume is a loophole, Will takes himself out of the Sectionals equation and lets the kids have the glory they deserve. Quinn takes a page out of Sue's book of evil and blackmails Sue to give Glee a full page in the yearbook. Glee victory! Yay! They take their picture with pride. Kurt is rocking a fierce pose. This episode really got me pumped for next week and I can't wait to see how it all comes together.
