Glee Gleecap - Vitamin D - Episode 6

Glee Gleecap - Vitamin D

Here's our Gleecap of Episode 6 of Glee - Vitamin D from Noelle! Can I call you my Gleetern Noelle?

This week on everyone's favorite show, the energizer bunny is breeding as the boys and girls of Glee compete against each other to decide what performance goes on at sectionals. Will decides that the club needs some serious motivation and nothing sparks motivation like competition. It's fun, it's energetic and it's caffeinated. This week is looking awesome.

Glee is separated into two teams, boys against girls. They're on a mission to create the best mash-up and the winner gets to pick the opening act for sectionals. A mash-up of two songs? Oh this is gonna be sweet. The only person in the world who would disagree with me is the cheerleading coach Sue. Her mission is to destroy Glee and make Will's life hell. She needs a hobby. She sets off to plant a bomb in Terri's head that Will is cheating on her with bushbaby Emma. Aw bushbaby. Now that's all i think of when i look at her humongous eyes. O_O They're like a deer that's glued to the middle of the road staring into bright headlights. Sue gives Terri the idea of becoming school nurse and keeping an eye on Will at the same time. The scene with the old lady falling down the stairs was hilarious. I swear she made a splat sound.

Finn hasn't been sleeping lately so Terri's first act as school nurse is apparently handing out over the counter drugs to students. She gives Finn some decongestant which will apparently act as a caffeine pill and make him hyper. It works and he's walking around school like he's Woody Woodpecker. He shares this new discovery with the rest of the guys and they kick MAJOR ass performing a mash-up of It's My Life by Bon Jovi and Confessions by Usher. I'm literally jamming in my seat. I have to say though that the hyper pills make the awkward lip syncing even more hilariously awkward. They all legit look like they've got some sort of problem. Whoa! A rapping wheelchair! Drake is that you?

The girls' realize that they've got some serious competition now. First order of business is becoming friendly, which is what Rachel sets out to accomplish with Quinn. Pssht. I would never be that nice to the bitchy head cheerleader but they need to get back in business and that's understandable. Terri is handing out decongestant like there's no tomorrow and soon fills up the girls team with those happy little pills. Meanwhile we're treated with some lovely imagery of Ken Tanaka and his one undescended testicle. Hm. Lovely. Terri convinces him that he needs to propose to Emma so her wandering eye becomes stationary...and that way Terri gets her man all to herself. Good plan. Except for the fact that Will is kind of sick of Terri being constantly in his face.

Ken proposes to Emma with a ring straight out of the 9.99 bin at Walmart. He pulls it out of a fanny pack (ugh) and it's the tiniest piece of ugly cubic zirconia on a gold band i've ever seen. She should say no just because of the ring.

The girls are performing a mash-up of Walking On Sunshine by Katrina and the Waves and Halo by Beyonce... and they look like Brooke White multiplied. They're dressed all in yellow and look like dancing daisies. They're moving non stop and they're whipping their heads more than Britney Spears in her Womanizer video. I'm getting dizzy just watching them. But they're perky little energizer bunnies and Will loves it.

You know, waiting for Emma and Will to get together is worse than Ross and Rachel on Friends. Catfight! Terri wants Emma to stay away from her man and Emma tells Terri she's not good enough for him. But something struck a chord with Emma and she accepts Ken's proposal with the promise that they don't have to spend much time together and nothing really changes. He's really desperate. Quinn lets Terry know she wants to give her the baby but doesn't want Will to know. Convenient. Will however has his own problems now that he's found out his wife is dealing drugs throughout the school. Because of this failure, he's assigned a more responsible teacher to codirect Glee with him. Three guesses who it is. It's Sue! Her pessimism is going to make for one interesting storyline. I can see the frustration forming now. It'll be a total clash of the titans.
