Ryan Murphy Regrets Attacking Kings of Leon

Ryan Murphy, the creator of Glee, now regrets starting a feud with Kings of Leon in the press.

Whatever. His ego got too big and now he realizes that he's been a complete a-hole now that Glee is not as good as it used to be. Glee can still sell singles on iTunes - commanding a lot of power with advertisers and music labels - but the show itself is crap. The cast has gotten old really quickly in just one season and the storylines are based on songs that get approved instead of the other way around. The show has relied too much on it's guest stars and song selections for too long already. This show cannot be saved, because like NBC's Heroes, there's too big a backlog of bad episodes already that cannot be unseen.

From THR:

The Ryan Murphy-Kings of Leon feud has taken on a life of its own since The Hollywood Reporter first reported the Glee creator's comments in a January cover story. Now, Murphy tells THR, he wishes he'd expressed himself differently. Specifically, the part where he told the band, "F--k you" and called KOL's Followill brothers "self-centered assholes."
