George Zimmerman boxing match canceled

By Rickey ·

The proposed George Zimmerman vs. DMX boxing match has been canceled.

The promoter of the fight, Damon Feldman, announced it on Twitter on Saturday while being criticized for promoting a fight involving George Zimmerman, the killer of Trayvon Martin.

Feldman however has deleted the tweets announcing the cancelation and said that he will have a press conference on Tuesday announcing the matter.

He did leave a tweet saying: "I'm done with Zimmerman."

Previously he wrote that: "This was the wrong person to put in the ring and define celebrity boxing. I'd rather be happy and make people happy."

"Just looked at my son and daughter today wow I'm so lucky those people must be in so much pain ... all you people are right."
