Geoff Stults signs a Recurring deal for ‘Ben and Kate’

The Finder star Geoff Stults has signed a deal with the brand-new fall series Ben and Kate.

Geoff Stults will play a single parent and the love interest for Kate (Dakota Johnson). He will make his first appearance on October 30.

In the near term, Stults will join 20th TV’s new comedy series for Fox Ben And Kate, playing a single parent and love interest for Kate (Dakota Johnson). His first appearance will be is the Halloween episode which airs October 30. “Geoff is a tall hunk of man who makes me laugh,” 20th TV’s head of casting Sharon Klein said. “He’s the ultimate ‘man’s man’ AND ‘ladies man.’ He’s a big TV star who proved he can anchor a show with his dry wit on The Finder.” Stults’ series credits have been mostly on the drama side, including October Road, in which he played the lead, and Happy Town, though he also did an arc on 20th TV’s CBS comedy How I Met Your Mother. In features, he appeared in the comedies Wedding Crashers and The Break-Up. Stults is with UTA and Thruline Entertainment.
