Garth Brooks' 5th Comeback Show In Ireland Sells Out; More To Follow?

Garth Brooks may be due to head out on his world tour in the fall (beginning with North America and lasting 3 years), but announced that he would be playing 2 special shows in Dublin, Ireland's Croke Park on July 25 & 26. Deemed as a way to kick things off and a kind of anniversary concert from when Garth played there in 1997 (the stadium was not yet finished at that point, and Garth said he would return when it was done).

Tickets went on sale on January 30 and within 45 minutes a third show had been added to keep up with demand. When 90 minutes had passed and all 3 dates had sold out, Garth and his team decided to add a 4th date, which went on sale early this morning. When those tickets again sold out very quickly, a 5th date was added, which also promptly sold out.

The Garth Brooks Comeback Special Event will take place on Friday 25, Saturday 26, Sunday 27, Monday 28 and Tuesday 29 July 2014 at Croke Park, to an astonishing 400,000 fans over the course of the 5 shows.

I suspect with this incredible demand they will probably extend it to a full week's run.
