Game of Thrones renewed for Third Season

Game of Thrones is getting a third season!

I am so happy! I am so addicted to this show right now. I've become a huge fan of Kit Harington who plays Jon Snow.

The third book of George R.R. Martin's series 'A Song of Ice and Fire' is 'Storm of Swords' -- and is the longest book in the series. There is a possibility that it may be spread out over two 10-episode seasons on HBO.

From LA Times:

"Series creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss raised our expectations for the second season -- and then surpassed them," President of HBO Programming Michael Lombardo said in a statement. "We are thrilled by all the viewer and media support we've received for the series, and can't wait to see what Dan and David have in store for next season."
