The Gambit Movie Starring Channing Tatum is Moving Forward

The Gambit movie, centered around X-Men fan favorite Remy LeBeau - who will be played by the controversial pick Channing Tatum - is still moving forward.

According to Deadline, Tatum has been officially attached to the film and will help produce it as well.

Sorry everyone who was hoping for an actual Ragin' Cajun!

The media site also revealed that RoboCop screenwriter Josh Zetumer is set to write the film's screenplay which will be based on a storyline from Marvel writer Chris Claremont.

No other information is known at this time because the plot is being kept super secret, but really, it has to be way better than that brief look at Gambit from X-Men Origins: Wolverine.
