This 'Frozen' Deleted Scene Could Have Radically Changed the Story - Video
Slight spoilers for Frozen below, although if you haven't seen it by now, you really ought to. It's fantastic:

One of the key points of the story in Disney's massive megahit Frozen is how two sisters, Anna and the older Elsa, have been torn apart by the elder sister's burgeoning magical powers -- a force that is beyond her control.
Much of the first act of the movie centered on the tragedy of their damaged relationship, as they had once been best friends until Elsa's powers condemned her to a life of self-imprisonment. Anna, whose memory of Elsa's powers has been erased by a group of magical trolls (just roll with it), doesn't know why her sister is being so distant. In short, she doesn't realize that Elsa is trying to protect her by pushing her away.
However, in this deleted scene, we see that their relationship wasn't as (ahem) cold as in the final product. This scene takes place during the somber first act, in which the relationship between the sisters was meant to be rather cold and distant. Had it been included in the movie, it might have radically changed the story of the film, as they're clearly still as close here as they were as children. Hardly any of Elsa's characteristic emotional distance is in evidence. This would have had the effect of making their inevitable reunion less powerful, since they apparently never stopped being close in this version. Still, it's an amusing scene on its own. It was never animated, since it didn't get beyond the concept stages (thankfully), but you can still check it out in storyboard form below via MTV:
The scene is included on the Frozen DVD/Blu-ray, which will be released on March 18.
