'Franklin & Bash' Canceled By TNT After Four Seasons
Unfortunately, Breckin Meyer and Mark-Paul Gosselaar are back on the market: TNT has canceled Franklin & Bash after four seasons.
TNT opted not to renewed the legal drama for a fifth season, due to a stunning drop in viewership this season when compared to season three. Season four drew 1.25 million viewers for its premiere, which represented a 60% decline from the third season premiere. By the end of season four, the show was well under a million viewers: the series finale brought in just 975,000 viewers.
The show was among the more amusing series on TNT's lineup, owing to the chemistry between Meyer and Gosselaar, and the comedic elements that kept its drama lively. This is TNT's second high-profile cancellation in as many months, as the network dumped Dallas in an attempt to completely reshape the network under new head honcho Kevin Reilly.
Do you agree with the decision? Or do you hope Franklin & Bash is able to find a new home on another network? Sound off in the comments!
