Frankie Ballard Scores First #1 With 'Helluva Life'

Frankie Ballard assumed that when he got signed a few years ago, that things would explode for him. It took an album and a single or two to fail to impact the country music charts to spur him on to record 'Helluva Life', and now that song has gone #1 on both Billboard's country chart and the Mediabase chart.

From Frankie's sophomore album Sunshine & Whiskey, the single has sold 400,000 copies since its release last year. “My heart is overflowing,” Ballard says in a press release. “I’m so thankful to country radio for taking a chance on this song. I’m more than happy to play this one for the rest of my helluva life!”

I'm sure it'll be the first of many.
