Frank Ocean makes impressive Billboard debut

Single-handedly, R&B man-of-the-moment Frank Ocean is attempting to revive the dying genre. Besting the sales of his more experienced contemporary Usher, with digital sales alone, Ocean debuts at #2 on the Billboard 200 with 131,000 copies. Chris Brown debuted a few weeks ago with Fortune at #1 with a few thousand copies more but that took into consideration physical & digital.

Unfortunately, Ocean's mega digital sales were not able to best country band Zac Brown Band with over 200,000 copies. With channel ORANGE still flying high on iTunes, don't count Ocean's debut set out for a #1 in the coming weeks.
