The Fosters Winter Premiere 2015 Preview Brings Lots of Tears (VIDEO)

Everyone is crying in the preview for The Fosters Winter Premiere, due to debut on Monday, January 19, 2015 in a new 8:00 PM time slot.

But why all the sadness?

Well, it could be that Robert Quinn (Kerr Smith) has decided to file for custody for Callie (Maia Mitchell). Or maybe it's that Callie gets more bad news in the form of Brandon (David Lambert) regretfully telling her, "We don't always get to have our one true love." Of course, this begs the question of why Robert Quinn has decided to file for custody. Does he realize the mistake in simply letting Callie go? Or could it be more tragic than all that? Could Sophia have actually been successful in her possible suicide attempt in the summer finale, leaving Robert to cling onto the only child he has left?

Okay, maybe it won't be THAT dramatic, but it looks like a lot is changing in the second half of Season 2. And I'm really interested to see where this all is going to be monumental in the drama department, as Callie and Brandon attempt to redefine their relationship, while various other members of the Foster-Adams family deal with the fallout from last night's Christmas special (while also being stressed out about Lord only knows what).
