Former soap actress Crystal Hunt charged with felony deadly assault

Whoa. In crazy, random news, soap actress Crystal Hunt has been charged with felony assault with a deadly weapon, for smashing glass into another woman's face at a bar fight.

Hunt was arrested on December 13 after a violent confrontation at a West Hollywood bar. According to TMZ, "Cops say she threw a pint glass at the woman's face.  The alleged victim was injured and required medical attention."

The actresses' attorney told TMZ that the alleged victim was wasted and was the instigator of the fight. Supposedly Hunt meant to throw water at the woman and the glass slipped out her hand.

Hunt portrayed Lizzie Spaulding from 2003-2006 on Guiding Light and Stacy Morasco on One Life to Live from 2009-2010.
