Flying from Florida to California in a Cessna 172 - Video

This is not something you see everyday: a 9-day single-engine plane trip from Florida to California.

Mirko Sylla shares highlights from his trip flying a Cessna 172 using his GoPro camera.

Watch until the end where an 87-year-old woman he met shares her plane and aircraft riding memories.

From Mirko Sylla:

This is the final video of my flying trip in America. We flew from Daytona, Florida to Sacramento, California and back in a C172. To fly the 9300KM it took us 52 hours over a period of 9 days. Along our route we flew over the Grand Canyon, the Barringer Crater, landed at 14 different airports and much more.
