Florida Georgia Line To Begin Recording New Album In March

Florida Georgia Line have revealed that they will begin recording their sophomore album in March.

Their debut release, Here's To The Good Times, catapulted them to country music stardom with their first single, 'Cruise', instantly in the history books, after breaking the record for number of weeks spent atop Billboard's 69-year-old Hot Country Songs chart. The other singles, 'Get Your Shine On', 'Round Here' and 'Stay' all stayed at #1 for several weeks, and the duo have received multiple award nominations and wins, as well as starting a trend for a "bro-country" sound, which spawned hundreds of copycat acts.

The album was produced by Joey Moi, and they will work with him again for this new record, which they have been writing while out on the road, both on their own Here's To The Good Times headlining tour and Jason Aldean's 2014 Burn It Down tour.

There is no word yet on when the album will be ready for release, but I suspect it'll be in the final sales quarter of 2014.
