Flashforward - The Negotiation - Recap
Simon is in hiding after his identity is revealed not only to the FBI but to the rest of the world. Being known as the only man awake during the blackout isn't the best thing for him right now. He's approached by the big guys in charge behind the blackout. They need him and he knows it. They offer him some kind of deal but he doesn't seem very enthused. He takes the time to have sex with some girl involved though. There's always time for that.
Also in hiding of her true identity is Janis. The stress is catching up to her. Between being told to kill Mark, her double life, and Demetri being the father of her baby, things are getting stressful. I was under the impression that Janis went through with the artificial insemination but tonight we get confirmation that Dem did in fact sleep with Janis so she could get pregnant. Is he cheating on Zoey if the girl is a lesbian? Either way I don't think Zoey will be thrilled. She buys two tickets to Hawaii and wants Dem to go with her so they can make their future a happy one. A wedding instead of a funeral. He's too busy helping Mark save the world to give it a second thought. Well, I guess his impending doom is more important so I really shouldn't judge.
Aaron is still intent on proving how much like Rambo he can be while battling with guns in Afghanistan in search of his daughter Tracy. After a couple of gunfights and some arguments with Wedeck, they see Tracy being dragged into the desert. He pops some caps like only Aaron could and finally gets his daughter. He forces the guys he's with to take them to safety and he finds himself in the weird room he saw in his vision. He seemed happy in his vision but Tracy is in bad shape. Will she die?
Mark and FBI bring Gabriel in for questioning to see what he knows about the impending blackout. They get what they can out of him and find out Dyson Frost wasn't the only one behind the experiments. The same guy offering a deal to Simon was involved in what happened to Gabriel. Gabriel is a bit..of an antsy person and feels comfort having Olivia near him to calm him down. It's an awkward situation for Mark having Olivia in the office with Lloyd showing up and Gabe constantly spouting that Olivia will end up with Lloyd. I actually start to feel bad for Mark for a second when he asks Gabriel if Olivia is at least safe in his visions if she has to be with Lloyd.
The FBI put Gabe into protective custody. They must sense that Janice is gonna sell him to the bad guys any second. They haul him into a bulletproof van with a swat team where they are unsurprisingly attacked by the bad guys' gunmen. They shoot down the van, open the doors and surprise! Out pops Mark dressed and acting like Gabriel. That whole scenario just made my night. I barely noticed it was Mark. They set the trap to catch the bad guy and get him into custody. Is Simon with him? Did he accept the offer? What does Simon know about the upcoming blackout?
