Flashforward - Course Correction - Recap

This week Flashforward decides to revisit a subject topic that i'm still a little bitter over: Course Correction of the Universe. When Demetri lived past his death date we all breathed a huge sigh of relief. But is he and all the others still safe? Remember when Lost decided to do course correction and Dominic Monaghan suffered because of it? Well this week, a murderer shares that belief and is killing off death date survivors one by one.. Saying it's fate and the universe will do it anyway. So i guess he's just helping the universe along. The girl from the beginning of the season that Al Gough died for is back and makes the mistake of talking on the news about how happy she is she's still alive. So naturally she's the killer's next target. Demetri and Banks try to stop him before he can do anymore damage. Unfortunately, while Demetri is busy holding the murderer at gunpoint, Banks accidentally seals Celia's fate and hits her with her car. Banks gets the phone call that Gough was always meant to get and it looks like fate has other ideas. What does this mean for Demetri?

We finally get to see more of Bryce and his storyline. He and Nicole are still bonding while he does his chemo and it's really sweet. Bryce has a defeated attitude but Nicole wants him to be happy. She gets a surprise when on one of her shifts, Keiko arrives at the hospital. She goes to find Bryce who has his own good news. He's in remission! The experimental treatments he's gone through are working and he couldn't be happier. He doesn't care about what he saw in his vision because he realizes what matters is what is right in front of him and he can't wait to be with Nicole. How can a girl turn down that kind of offer? Nicole decides not to mention Keiko's appearance to Bryce. Will he find out anyway?

Olivia and Lloyd are still spending time together but I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around the whole thing. How did Olivia fall so out of love with Mark so quickly? Or at least how did she get so comfortable doing something that's obviously wrong. Charlie sure wouldn't appreciate it. Lloyd is spending his time worrying about how to figure out those damn rings and trying to fix all the guilt he's feeling over the blackout. When he's not moping and talking in such a monotonous accent, he's busy kissing Olivia over some wine. Mark walks in on them and Olivia displays the worst poker face i've ever seen and rushes out. Sheesh.

Simon's sister is still kidnapped and being held hostage while the kidnappers demand the ring from Simon. He goes to the FBI for help and Mark reluctantly agrees to help him. He doesn't trust Simon and rightfully so. Simon is lying about everything. Including what he knows and who he is. By the time Mark finds Simon's sister Simon has disappeared. And so has the ring. Simon says a strange goodbye to Lloyd, Mark and his sister that it almost sounds like he thinks he won't ever be coming back. Will he? The FBI will sure be on the hunt for him now that they've discovered his true identity: Suspect Zero.
