FlashForward - Blowback - Recap

Since realizing her flashforward depicted Demetri's memorial instead of their wedding, Zoey has made it her mission to find out anything she can that could help them. She tells Demetri what she saw in her vision and he urges her to drop the subject. Yeah, that's not happening anytime soon. At least not in this episode. She confronts Mark trying to prove he's capable of murdering his partner and gets nowhere. Probably realizing she needs to work on her communication skills, she uses her job title to scare Wedeck into granting her permission to review their classified files.
He begrudgingly allows her to go over them with an angry Demetri standing over her. She only really succeeds in pissing off everyone around her. Apparently she finds something useful in the interview transcripts from the blonde terrorist and makes a deal with her in exchange for information. Oy. That'll have backlash. With a fiance that won't listen to him and his impending doom following him around, it doesn't help when he goes to destroy Mark's gun, the gun that will be used to kill him, and it's missing. Man nothing is going his way. I really think he should just eat, sleep, and work in a bulletproof vest.
Mark seeks out Lloyd's help in piecing together the latest details of their visions. Lloyd admits he knew of a D. Gibbons under the name Dyson Frost and he'll do everything he can to help prevent another blackout. Commodore Norrington was always very professional. With Lloyd's point of view we're able to figure out that Mark and Lloyd were working on an equation related to something called the mirror (?) test. Relating to the recognition of consciousness among species like humans, elephants and crows. Crows mean Somalia. Somalia means road trip! Just not for Mark. He's too valuable to put in danger so Demetri, Vogel, Simon and Janice are packing their bags. I really don't see how Janice is going to get the miracle baby she's pursuing if she's hanging in Somalia unless she has one too many to drink and hooks up with Simon. They had such lovely chemistry last week.
We see a flashback of Tracy visiting Aaron in prison 15 years ago. Not very surprising seeing he has addiction problems he's passing on to Tracy. They're bickering over what's best for her in this situation. Neither one of them is being very careful. She's chilling out in public bars and Aaron is blabbing her existence. Aaron makes the mistake of telling Tracy's "friend" Mike that she's still alive. I can see how he would make that mistake. Mike was very convincing. Before you know it two goons attack Tracy in the kitchen, stick a needle in her neck, and shove her into a cardboard box. They literally Fed-Ex her away. These Jericho guys don't play around.
Aaron goes after Mike and kicks some ass. He's got nothing to lose and barely blinks when he breaks Mike's arm. Yeesh. Between Simon losing his finger last week and Mike's arm this week, I'm cringing way too often with this show. Aaron pays a visit to the man in charge of Jericho and tells him if his daughter isn't returned to him safely, they're going to war. The guy replies by telling his goons to "get rid" of Aaron. Aaron overhears and since he still has Mike tied up in the back of his truck, he decides to give Jericho-man a present for his daughter's birthday party. A pinata in the form of Mike. I guess they chose war.
