'The Flash' video introduces Eddie Thawne (played by Rick Cosnett)

The CW released a new The Flash featurette video on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 showing Detective Eddie 'Pretty Boy' Thawne played by Rick Consett.

As a reader of The Flash comic book, this is very exciting, because I know who Eddie Thawne is. Though the TV series can diverge from what happens in the comics (and comic continuity is all over the place at DC Comics nowadays anyway), I have a feeling where all of this is eventually headed.

The Flash premieres this fall on The CW and I am very excited!

From The CW:

He may be pretty, but there’s only one man faster than a bullet. Don’t miss #TheFlash series premiere Tuesday, Oct. 7 at 8/7c!
