'The Flash' casts Iris West and Vibe
The Flash on The CW has found its leading lady: Candice Patton will be playing Iris West.
In this version of The Flash, she is African American and is the daughter of Detective West (played by Jesse L. Martin) who is the mentor for Barry Allen (Grant Gustin).
The new series from The CW has also cast Carlos Valdez who will play Cisco Ramon, a member of the team of scientists at STAR Labs. For those who read DC Comics, Cisco Ramon is Vibe!
I am so excited for this. The Flash is my favorite superhero of all time and I am so happy he's getting a TV series again. It's really happening guys! Woohoo!
