First Look at Jamie Fraser on 'Outlander'

A time travel romance is headed to Starz. Based on the bestselling books by Diana Gabaldon, Outlander tells the story of Claire Randall, a combat nurse from 1945 who is taken back in time to 1743. That's quite a difference even the Delorean didn't attempt.

We now have your first look at the character of Jamie Fraser, the attractive Scotsman with who Claire has a passionate affair. Jamie will be played by Sam Heughan.

Also cast in the series include Tobias Menzies (Game of Thrones), Lotte Verbeek (The Borgias), and James Fleet.

Outlander is set to premiere on Starz in 2014.
