FIRST LOOK: Henry Cavill as Clark Kent in 'Batman v Superman'

Given the amount of new faces joining Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, you wouldn't necessarily think that a returning face would be such big news. Yet here we are, ogling the first look at Henry Cavill as Clark Kent. So why all the fuss? Well, this is mostly because this is our first real look at him as the Clark Kent many felt he should have been in Man of Steel. I mean, look at him! He's all mild-mannered, and not-at-all-obviously-Superman. He's almost...well, subtle.

Okay, yeah, it's just one photo, but as someone who thinks Cavill is a great Superman with the potential to be a great Clark Kent, this picture is encouraging. I can't really put a finger on it, but he just looks...right. Anyhow, a bit of backstory: the photo was officially revealed via the Twitter of The Royal Marine Charitable Trust Fund, a UK organization that is dedicated to aiding marines and their families. Cavill is a supporter of the charity, and shows as much in the photo, in which he brandishes a shirt from the organization (implying that Clark Kent, and, by extension, Superman are supporters as well).
