FIRST LOOK: 'Downton Abbey' Season 5 Cast, Newcomers (PHOTOS)

It's almost fall, and that means we're coming up on the UK premiere of Downton Abbey Season 5. And with the coming premiere is the reveal of the first photos from Season 5. And there are some interesting tidbits here.

Of the newcomers to the cast, 3-year-olds Zac and Oliver Barker will take turns playing the role of George Crawley, the child of Lady Mary (Michelle Dockery) and the late Matthew Crawley. Meanwhile, 4-year-old Fifi Hart has been cast as Sybil, the daughter of Tom Branson (Allen Leech) and the late Sybil Branson née Crawley (because people are basically dropping like flies on this series). Also among newcomers is well-respected character actor Richard E. Grant, who appears in the final set photo alongside Lady Cora (Elizabeth McGovern). Grant will play Simon Bricker, a man whose role in the story remains unknown. However, it's unlikely they would hire an actor of Grant's caliber unless he was set to play a significant role in the season.

Also of note, Isis the Immortal Dog makes her first appearance in a Downton Abbey season cast photo! And that's not all, as one photo also features Lady Mary alongside Branson and, tellingly, Anthony Gillingham (Tom Cullen). Could Gillingham be the man Mary finally chooses? We'll find out when Downton Abbey Season 5 premieres this fall in the UK, and in January stateside. Until then, check out the first look photos below via Hypable:
