First Look at Costume for Netflix's 'Daredevil' (PHOTO)
New York Comic-Con has been in full-swing this weekend, and it has been home to some pretty interesting exclusives. For instance, our first look at the costume for one of Marvel's latest heroes-headed-for-TV.
Stars Charlie Cox, Deborah Ann Woll, Vincent D'Onofrio and Elden Henson were on hand to discuss Netflix's original adaptation of Marvel's Daredevil. This included a first look at the costume, a take on the duds used in The Man Without Fear comic book miniseries by Frank Miller and John Romita Jr. However, those worried about the ninja-like costume being too subdued for the series have no need to fear, as the costume has been promised to evolve over the course of the 13-episode series. And it's just as well, since this is very much a story about the evolution of Matt Murdock from blind lawyer to vigilante superhero. It'll be gritty and action-packed, but it also seems like it'll be a lot more grounded in reality than other Marvel TV properties of its type, like Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and the upcoming Agent Carter.
At least, it'll be as grounded in reality as a series about a blind lawyer-turned-vigilante can be...
