Charlie Hunnam's decision to drop out of the film adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey has thrown production into turmoil.
Though Hunnam was swiftly replaced by former Once Upon A Time star Jamie Dornan, Fifty Shades of Grey's production start date has been delayed by an entire month.
The production was scheduled to begin shooting in early November, but will now start filming on Dec. 2, which presents a serious threat to the film being completed in time for its August 1, 2014 release date.
Of course, it's not exactly the end of the world if the film is pushed back to an autumn release date. But in a business where time is money, the film is essentially pouring precious dollars down the drain with each delay.
