Fergie Apologizes For Botched National Anthem At 2018 NBA All-Star Game

Fergie gave one of the worst renditions of "The Star-Spangled Banner" in recent memory at last Sunday's NBA All-Star game. She was panned instantly online for her slowed-down take of the National Anthem.

In a statement to TMZ, Fergie apologized: "I've always been honored and proud to perform the national anthem and last night I wanted to try something special for the NBA. I'm a risk taker artistically, but clearly this rendition didn't strike the intended tone. I love this country and honestly tried my best."

Honestly, real singers should be singing the National Anthem but this is Hollywood and celebrity is everything.
