Favorite American Idol Album for 2007 Poll Results

And the winner is... Elliott Yamin!

It was really close. Hopefully everyone will continue to support their Idols in CD sales for 2008.

Some thoughts: My naive self is saying, "I can't believe rickey.org had so many Taylor Hicks fans", but the truth is, the Soul Patrol came in from various forums (and there were a lot) just to vote for Taylor. I just checked my stats and I've been getting referral links from Taylor Hicks forums I've never heard of before. By comparison, the other Idols fans came from 1-2 forums. (Here's looking at you E-Train Station and Kelly Clarkson Express)

I think the Soul Patrol should shell out their extra Christmas money soon and buy Taylor Hicks' CD again (and again) since it is just a matter of time before Kellie Pickler and Elliott Yamin surpass Taylor in CD sales. Kellie PicklerImage: is now dangerously close to passing Taylor's numbers and I am so excited.

Thank you to everyone who participated in this poll. Now, onward to American Idol 7!
