'Harry Potter' Spin-Off 'Fantastic Beasts' Will Be 'At Least a Trilogy'

Author J.K. Rowling is hard at work on the script for the Harry Potter prequel slash spin-off slash companion film Fantastic Beasts & Where to Find Them, which is currently slated to be a trilogy.

Or you know, more than a trilogy depending on how much money the first three films make.

The news was shared by a Wall Street Journal reporter, who talked to Warner Bros. CEO Kevin Tsujihara.

Tsujihara not only revealed that the first three films will be in theatres in 2016, 2018 and 2020 but that the adaptation of the spin-off book will be "at least a trilogy."

Meaning it may end up being more than a trilogy. Money willing.
