(No hate comments for the DeGarmo version of "I Believe" please. I just wanted to make all American Idol fans happy.)

Thanks for all the great comments over the past two days. I've gotten over 9,000 unique visitors today and 23,000+ hits. Totally mind-boggling. The Fantasia-haters thread is still going strong with more than 300 comments (the Fantasia fans have won of course), and I'm thinking that I might be responsible for TypePad having server problems this week. Ha!

So what next Fantasia? Well, hopefully in the next few weeks I will transfer all the Fantasia-related stuff in my blog to a more organized collection, and perhaps maybe I will fulfill my quest to meet Fantasia before her inevitable rise to untouchable stardom. rickey.org will then be about me and I'll have 10 visitors a day once again.

It has been great guys, thank you, thank you!

Till next year, Rickey, American Idol fan... out!
