MTV's Teen Wolf is about to get more dangerous.

Falling Skies veteran Doug Jones will appear this season as a “known killer” named Barrow, TVLine reports.

Further details about the mysterious character and his storyline have yet to be revealed, but Jones is expected to show up in Episode 15, which is titled “Galvanize” and which will air after the series returns from hiatus on Jan. 6.

Jones is no stranger to the supernatural, having appeared in such TV series as The Outer Limits, The Neighbors, Buffy: The Vampire Slayer and the aforementioned Falling Skies, in addition to film roles in the Hellboy series, Pan's Labyrinth and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer. His role on Teen Wolf is expected to utilize his skill at playing creepy, dark, mysterious characters.

Teen Wolf's midseason finale airs Monday, Aug. 19 at 10/9c on MTV.
