Expedition Impossible - Light My Way

Summary: Riding wild stallions, kayaking a raging river and using their wits to solve an enlightening challenge are the tasks in store for contestants in this episode.

There are 11 teams left on Expedition Impossible at this stage -- so all the teams seems like a blur to me, except for some highlights here and there. There's a blind man on a horse, a couple of gays, firemen, cops, football players... woohoo!

My generally impression is that the challenges the teams face are a little bit harder compared to the Amazing Race only because they actually look harder in the scorching heat of Morocco. We can also see the race unfold on every single stage. In TAR editing can make a race look closer than it actually is, but in EI we actually see the teams racing each other so no need for too much creative editing.

The only real confusing part of the challenge on tonight's episode was the pitstop which was actually hidden from view in a walled area. The teams must look around to find it and some teams really looked lost. This was the only stage where we saw a little bit of drama, but everything else was straight-forward race to the finish.

Results:

Mom's Army arrived last. Unfortunately, it was mom's fault when she freaked out at the kayaking stage of the race dropping them to last -- and they couldn't recover.

At least we can't blame taxi cabs anymore!
