Eve is coming back to TV! The rapper has been tapped to star in a romantic comedy about an interracial relationship for ABC!

The rapper, who starred in her own self-titled show from 2003-2006 on UPN, will star in a new project from ABC Studios and Aaron Kaplan's Kaplan Entertainment, set for the 2014-15 television season.

Kaplan approached Eve with the idea for a multi-camera interracial romantic comedy. They then pitched it to ABC who bought it with penalty. Eve and Kaplan will both executive produce.

This is big. I don't think that ABC has had an African-American comedy since My Wife & Kids. Can you say stoked!?
