Ethan Hawke

Place: Chelsea, 23rd Street at 8th Avenue, in front of Chelsea Cinema
Time: 5:00 PM

Walking in the direction of 7th Avenue, Rickey notices a man walking toward him. Their gazes meet, and the man walks on, but Rickey turns back.

Rickey: "Eee-than!"

Ethan looks back at him.

Rickey: "Can I take your picture with me?"

Ethan: "No."

(Awkward pause.)

Ethan: "What's your name?"

Rickey: "Rickey."

Ethan: "Nice to meet you Rickey." He offers his hand, and Rickey takes it. They shake hands.

Rickey: "Thanks."

Rickey proceeds to do whataver heck he was doing before most recent New York celebrity encounter.

Rickey: (Thinking) "I should have said something about Uma... I should have said something about Uma... !"
