With the surprising firing of Brooke Burke-Charvet from Dancing With the Stars on Friday, the hit reality show is now short a co-host. But the series has called on one of its most popular former contestants to fill the role.
Fox Sports reporter Erin Andrews, who finished third on Season 10 of Dancing With the Stars, will replace Brooke Burke-Charvet as co-host of ABC's dependable dance competition. Andrews will work alongside Emmy winner Tom Bergeron, who earned the Emmy for Outstanding Host for a Reality or Reality-Competition Program in 2012.
The cast for Season 18 of Dancing With the Stars will be revealed March 4 on Good Morning America, just under two weeks before the season premiere on March 17.
