Eric Church Not Feuding With Taylor Swift; Album News On January 3
Eric Church recently uploaded another cryptic video in advance of his forthcoming album The Outsiders, due February 11.
The clip featured Taylor Swift on the CMA Awards talking about Eric Church getting fired from Rascal Flatts' tour for playing too long, and was entitled "one will rise and one will fall", so many presumed that this was a dig at Taylor. The video was removed just a mere few hours after being uploaded because of the outcry from Swifties, and has now been replaced with a new video, explaining things a little.
In the video, a hand writes the following words: "Mysteries may seem strange. But that’s what makes them fun. Eric adores Taylor. For who she is and what she has done. You’re headed down the wrong trail / So we must stop this / One will rise one will fall / Has nothing to do with Swift / Focus on the background / And shed light on the clues / On January 3rd / All will be revealed to you".
Still mysterious, but at least we now have a date for more music, or at least more news about the album. Eric has us in the palm of his hands. That's what you call good marketing!
